In the news, a Californian family was arrested and charged with multiple counts of felony animal abuse in connection with some animals alleged to have been mistreated at their Ventura county ranch. Really sorry for Jane Bor, Ernie and Cecilia, 100 horses in their Ventura County Ranch property were seized. The family who were arrested on October 8 was released with a $10,000 bond each.
Captain Boss Bonfigilo, the public information officer for the Ventura county Sherriff office were involved in the. According to him, a neighbor complained the horses in the 21-acre Bor ranch in Frazier were malnourished. Well isn’t it such a pity?
With 14 horses removed on September 23, and the death of a foal, the Sherriff had no choice but to arrest them when they came for the other 38. The horses now reside in Ventura county Department of animal Regulation facility and a county humane society. Just read more of the news.
I think these creatures need more care than is being given to them in some quarters. Anyway, that’s just for now.
